Warranty Information
AstraBeds
warranties your AstraBeds mattress for a period of TWENTY
(20) years, Ten (10) years full replacement warranty, Ten (10) years
pro-rated to the original purchaser from the date of original
purchase. Your AstraBeds mattress will be replaced or repaired at
our option, without cost to you, should it be deemed defective
because of faulty workmanship or structural defects during the first
Ten (10) years subject to limitation specified in this warranty. It
is understood that this limited warranty does not include a normal
increase in softness of the mattress material or decrease in the
slow recovery feature-aspects which do not affect the
pressure-relieving qualities of the mattress. These are normal
characteristics of the foam that can occur during the breaking in
and do not imply a defect.
During the
pro-rated period, at our option, we will repair your mattress
subject to a handling charge or replace the mattress based on a
pro-rate schedule. The pro-rated charge will be as follows: the
number of years you have owned the mattress divided by twenty (20),
times the original purchase price. All transportation costs are the
responsibility of the purchaser and will be in addition to the
pro-rated charges.
This warranty
covers deterioration in the cell structure of the materials that
causes the mattress to have a visible indentation greater than
three-fourth (0.75”) of an inch, not associated with a sag in the
foundation or bed platform. Defects resulting in splitting or
cracking of the material, with normal usage and proper handling, are
also covered. AstraBeds mattress has been designed to be
used on a solid wood, non-spring, completely flat foundation or bed
platform. Substitution or use of improper foundations, platforms,
box springs or other bases upon which the mattress is placed is not
acceptable and will void your AstraBeds mattress warranty and all
other warranties expressed or implied. In the even of a warranty
claim, you may be required to provide proof of the quality and
suitability of the mattress foundation being provided to your
mattress.
All warranties
contained herein shall not apply if the mattress, foundation, or
cover has been physically abused, damaged, burned, moisture
saturated, cut or torn. AstraBeds reserves the right to refuse
repair or replacement of any product deemed to be in an unsanitary
condition. This warranty is valid only to the original purchaser of
the product. If the original purchaser sells the product, the
subsequent purchaser takes the product "as is" and "with all
faults." Warranty claims are to be made at the point of purchase
directly through the original dealer. Proof of Purchase is required
