How do I know if I need a new mattress?

The easiest way to determine the need for a new mattress is to judge your current sleep. If you toss and turn, wake up in the middle of the night, or wake up with a sore back, your mattress needs replacing. Any spring mattress over 8 years old should also be replaced. Good sleep is one of the most important factors in your quality of life. Don't compromise your sleep with a bad mattress.

Do you have a trial period?

We offer a truly risk-free 90-day in-home trial for all of our mattresses. If within this 90 day trial you are not 100% satisfied with the comfort level of your new mattress, you can opt for either a refund or an exchange for one of our other comfort level mattresses.

With a Risk Free 90-Day Trial Period, we make returns easy at Astrabeds. If you are not 100% satisfied with your mattress purchase within 90 days, call or email our customer service team and they'll issue you an an RMA number. Simply ship the mattress back to our warehouse, and we can exchange it for another, or we can issue a full refund for the mattress. After we receive and inspect the mattress, we'll issue you a full refund in the same way you paid.


In the event that you would like to exchange your mattress for another, you would only be responsible for the difference in price (if it is more expensive). If the replacement mattress is less expensive, we will refund you the difference.

Simply call us and we will discuss the best possible replacement mattress for you based upon your needs. We'll issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number then send out your replacement as soon as we receive the old one back.


We ask that you experience your mattress for at least 30 days before requesting an RMA number for a Free Return. The reason we ask that you try the mattress for 30 days is so the body can adjust to a superior sleeping posture and also become accustomed to the amazing benefits of an excellent sleep system.

What items can be returned?

All mattresses that are in like-new condition without holes, stains, or odors are valid for return within the 90-day trial period

What items can not be returned?

Adjustable bases, foundations, and accessories (such as sheets and pillows) are non-returnable.

Will normal sheets work on my new Astrabed?

Yes, normal sheets will work on your Astrabed. If you choose to order an Astrabed from us 11 inches or more in profile height (thickness) then you might want to consider using deep-pocket sheets which are easy to find and usually cost only a couple dollars more that regular sheets.

Can we use your bed as a waterbed replacement?

Of course you can. Depending on the dimensions, our matrasses should fit with your waterbed. If you are unsure,simply give us a call at with your dimensions handy, and we will make sure that our mattresses can be used in yourwaterbed frame.

Can I use my existing bed and box spring?

While you can certainly use your existing box spring, we usually recommend that you order a foundation because a foundation is a completely firm and completely flat surface for your bed to lie on. This will ensure that your bed contours completely to you and your body and not to any soft spots of slats in a box spring. We do recommend placing a sheet of plywood over your boxspring if you choose to use it.

How long will it take to get my mattress?

All mattress orders ship in 10 days (excludes major holidays) via FedEx or UPS. Once shipped, delivery takes approximately 2-5 business days. Adjustable beds ship via professional freight carrier and will take slightly longer to arrive depending on the shipping method selected. Expedited delivery is available.

What type of payments do you accept?
